  My god the things I could say about The Struggle Brothers are infinite! These songs were composed and written with Nikhil Rao in Pleasant Hill California in 2009. We were roommates living in a living room of an apartment in an apartment complex. Our other roommates were foreign exchange students from China attending the community college across the street. We eventually got evicted when our friend didn't flush the toilet after he was done peeing. We made a barrier for privacy in our living "room" which was composed mostly of Styrofoam. Nikhil and I would stay up late nights drinking stolen wine from the Safeway and wailing away on guitars, accordions, ukuleles, bass guitars and whatever else you can think of. Nearly everyone morning we would wake up to a hangover to our roommates telling us that we were to loud the night before and that if we weren't careful we were going to get evicted. Needless to say with our rowdiness I think we made it about 3 weeks before we got evicted. The only thing that still lives from this are these recordings.
